Một số từ vựng cần nhớ để nói về tính cách của một người ( Adjective)

  1. Critical: not pleased, saying that someone or something is bad or wrong, chỉ trích, chê bai, phê phán
    Ex: she is very a critical of the way we bring up our children
    Critical : important, of the greatest importance to the way thing might happen
    Ex: The president's support is critical ( to the project)
  2. fussy: not easily satisfied or having high standards about particular things, rắc rối, kiểu cách, cầu kỳ, quan trọng hóa vấn đề
    Ex: All my children were fussy esters
  3. Hard - working: always doing a lot of work 
    Ex: she was always hard - working at school
  4. lazy: not willing to work or use any effort, lười biếng
    Ex: Managers had complained that the workers were very lazy and unreliable
    lazy:
    slow and relaxed
    Ex: We spent a lazy day on the beach sunbathing
  5. Mature: completely grown physically, like an adult, chín chắn, già dặn như người lớn
    mature people behave like adults in a way that show they are well developed emotionally
    Ex: He's very mature for his age
  6. tactful: careful not to say or doing anything that could upset someone, khéo léo, lịch thiệp
    Ex: Mentioning his baldness wasn't very tactful 
  7. Polite: socially correct rather than friendly, lịch sự
    Ex: She sent me a polite letter thanking me for my invitation
  8. Quite: fairly, pretty, completely
    Ex: Are you quite sure you want to go?
  9. Nervous: worried and anxious, lo lắng, bận tâm
    Ex: I was very nervous about driving again after the accident
  10. Relaxed: feeling happy and comfortable because nothing is worrying you, thư giãn
    Ex: she seemed relaxed and in control of the situation
  11.  responsible: have control and authority over something or someone and the duty of taking care of it or them, chịu trách nhiệm
    Ex: Paul is directly responsible for the efficient running of the office
  12. Rude: not polite, không lịch thiệp, không lịch sự
    Ex: It's rude not to say "thank you" when you are given something
  13. Sensitive: understanding what other people need and being helpful and kind to them
                     upset, nhạy cảm, dễ xúc động
    Ex: Some's people teeth are highly sensitive to cold
  14.  strict: greatly limiting someone's freedom to behave as they wish and likely to severly punish them if they disobey, nghiêm khắc, khắc khe
    Ex: My parents were very strict with me when I was a young
  15. talkative: talking a lot, nói nhiều
    Ex: She's a lively, talkative person
  16. tidy: having everything ordered and arranged in the right place or liking to keep things like this, gọn gàng, ngăn nắp
    Ex: The house was clean and tidy
  17. tactless:not careful about saying or doing something that could upset someone , không khéo léo, không lịch thiệp
    Ex: It was tactless of you to invite his ex-girlfriend
  18. ambitious: really want to be successful , tham vọng
    Ex: He's very ambitious for his children
  19.  Reserved: don't talk about feeling or problem dè dặt, kín đáo
    Ex: The English have a reputation for being reserved
  20. Open: happy to talk about feeling . cở mở
    Ex: I wish you'd be more open with me and tell me what you're feeling
  21. Organised: make a lot of lists and plans . người có đầu óc tổ chức
    Ex: She's not a very organised person and she always arrives late at meetings.
  22. unreliable: don't do what they say they will do , không đáng tin cậy, không tin tưởng
    Ex: Tom is very unreliable. If he say he'll do something, he will not do it.
  23. chatty: easy to talk and talk a lot, nhiều chuyện, nói nhiều
