Words of day #17

A word which we sometime uses when I don't remember or don't know the name of an object or name of person.

Examples:
1. Can you pass me that thingy - you know, that clip thing for holding papers together.
2.   Ask thingy over there - he'll know.
3. Sorry, i'm late for the meeting. Could you just pass me the thingy for my report... I mean ...the stapler?
