this is due to the fact that...

Reading English documents, I have often seen the phrase "it is due to the fact that...".
For example:
This is due to that LOC filters high frequency signal components.
Similar cases can be found on the internet:
This is due to that an active process is sensitive to your defined goals, your personal preferences, and your responsibilities, and of course the context of ...
This is due to that the increased economic integration between economies and internationalization has changed the traditional ability to maintain overall...
So, what does it mean in general?

Following the users in [1], this phrase means this is because simply. But we should avoid using it in formal writing because it is a clumsy and wordy substitute [2]. However, there exists some explanations that it is an acceptable structure [3].
Below are two quotes that I have found on the internet.
Our success was mainly due to the fact that we stimulated the nerves of animals that easily stood on their own feet and we not subjected to any painful stimulus either during or immediately before stimulation of their nerves.
Thành công của chúng ta chính là vì chúng ta đã
Whatever success I may have attained is due to the fact that since I was old enough to work at all, my ambition has never deserted me.
Bất cứ thành công nào tôi có thể được là bởi vì từ lúc tôi đủ chín chắn chỉ để làm việc, tôi không bao giờ từ bỏ ham muốn chinh phục một điều gì đó.
